Art is my life…
My name is Raven, I am a digital artist from the UK. I love anything Dark, Gothic, fantasy or just weird and wonderful.
I create art using a technique called Photo manipulation, which involves 3 or more photographic elements blended together to create a new completely different work of art. It also involves digital painting over the original photograph to get the desired look. I used the latest version of Photoshop CC2015.1 and a wacom intuos pro graphics tablet.
I have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. Art for me is an escape and it helps keep me out of trouble. I studied fine art for 2 years, then I did a graphic design degree, but after years of frustration, I decided it wasn’t for me. That is when I started with photography, which in turn led me to photo manipulation, which is more than a simple retouch and edit. I love it… Hopefully it will make some of you happy too.
I also make my own jewelry… mainly Victorian Gothic and steam punk style….
